Election stations have been crowded all day. According to the foreman at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Overland Park, a key polling place for the Southern part of Overland Park and Leawood, the crowds have been large. Fifty people were in line before the poll opened. He said that the crowds are significantly larger than they were for the presidential election in 2012.
This is no surprise. People want change. It's time for the incumbents and do nothing politicians to be handed their pink slips. This is especially the case in the Senate race where the incumbent, who is technically an out-of-state resident, has been in Congress for 47 years and has been running a mud-slinging campaign devoid of real issues. Its time for new talent and its time to put away the partisanship and start working for the country, not for the campaign contributions!

Also, seems appropriate to wish everyone in news a "happy newsroom pizza" day.
