There is graupel coming down. These are snow pellets. This is in an indication of strong rising motion. Still under 1/10" on the Plaza!

In my Geek On video, I suggested 2.5-3.5" for the greater KC area with a few 4" spots and some isolated 6" spots. Seems on track!

4 to 5 inches of snow fell in that band, and it ended up clipping the Plaza with one inch at 2:24 AM.
